Welcome to a completely new way for Guitar based Bands to Rehearse, Record and Live Stream to a Worldwide Connected Audience with Pro Level Gear and a Multi Camera Shoot, with up to 21 Cameras!
JamPadSpace Studios is very much a Promotion Studio, as opposed to just being a Recording Studio. Even though our Studio records all the Instruments, it is very much biased towards Promoting your Guitar Based Band by Live Streaming your performance with a Multi Camera Video Shoot on our unique “Online Interactive Gig Stage”!
We utilise all the Social Media Platforms to promote your Band by filming Video Interviews,
producing Podcasts, taking Photographs, Producing Memes, making Gifs and Audio Clips for us to Promote this content across all our social media channels and in doing so, help your Band to maximise your Online presence and to elevate your Online profile to the next Level!
What Makes JamPadSpace Studios different from other Studios?
JPS Promotion Studios was created in order to Promote Guitar based Bands by using “Bleeding Edge” technology to help them promote their Band to the next level and gain greater recognition by engaging with Social Media platforms and by Live Streaming their Live Studio Gig and by utilising the unique JamPadSpace “Online Interactive Gig Stage”!
What is the Online Interactive Gig Stage?
It is a stage within the studio, that has all the instruments set up for DI recording and Live Streaming via 21 HD cameras. Each Instrument has its own position which is its own workstation. Each Workstation has its own Colour which is mainly for cable management. The stage also has Large LCD TV Monitors that are positioned in view of the Band’s Musicians, so that they can see the feedback from the Live Streaming Audience. It also has a Full Lighting Rig and Smoke Effects too.
So what will be my Colour?
Red – Guitar 1
Green – Guitar 2
Blue – Bass
Yellow – Drums
White – Keyboards
Purple – Vocalist
Why do we need to do Online Gigs?
JPS Studios recognises that the music Industry must keep “Music Live” but this is an increasingly difficult arena as bands face venue closures, difficulty in obtaining paid for gigs, difficulty in getting your audience to those venues and minimal payments from the major streaming platforms for your recorded tracks. Touring and Merch are great ways for a band to gain an income but Touring is very expensive, so Bands can easily get stuck in a rut. JPS studios believes that the solution is a blend of Live Gigs and Online Gigs!
We do this by supplementing your Live Gigs by using Online “21st Century” technology to increase your online Exposure to a Worldwide Connected Audience! JPS Studios offers numerous packages to help all guitar based bands with one such example being Time Zone Gigs, where a band has a following in another country already but are unable to afford the touring costs associated with that. Our Time Zone Gigs offer overnight Live streaming from our Studios, so that your band can be Live in the evening of your connected audience, in their own city time zone eg: 9pm in LA is 5am UK time!
Can you Video our Live Gigs?
Yes we can.. we have a package that specifically does that where we bring the cameras to you! We offer a 4 camera shoot with two Camera Operators to record your Live Gig. The Gig is Video Recorded and after post production, the video is uploaded to the JPS studios YouTube Channel.
What platforms are used for Live Streaming?
YouTube is our “go to” platform. Other JPS Studios Social Media channels are used to point potential online viewers to the JamPadSpace Youtube channel. All the bands that use our facilities are Live Streamed and recorded on this Channel.
As a band, we have our own Socials... can we not use them instead?
Yes you can but whilst at the Studio you can only use the JPS channels. You can provide links to your channels but the content sits on the JPS channels. This is because we are trying to build a following using Youtube that all Bands will benefit from, by monetising our YouTube channel, so that we can earn an online income (CashBack) by enabling Adsense, Affiliate Marketing,
Sponsorship, Channel Membership and Super Chats etc!
Can you explain the Cashback?
Cashback features in one of our packages and this means that any online income that is earned by the JamPadSpace Youtube channel is collected and paid back to those Bands on that Package. The split of income is 60/40 in favour of the band. Other online income such as YouTube Super chats are paid directly to that band, as a result of their Live Stream, less the same split.
So our Band can earn an online income with JPS Studios?
Yes it can! Its a world’s first! We are using all the technology available to place bands in the verybest position to increase their online income! By utilising the Umbrella of our Youtube Channel for all Live Streaming for Bands using JPS Studios, as there are many more advantages to working collectively, than a band working individually.
What happens to the Socials when we are not at JPS Studios?
Content that is filmed whilst you are at the studio is used to “Drip feed” our Socials over the weeks that you are not at the studio! If you re book our Studios on a monthly basis then this promotion continues, along with any Cashback earned! If you don’t book our Studio again then that Promotion stops one month after your Studio booking. This Promotion exposure varies based on the package that you select when you book the studio. So we are working for you whilst you are not at the Studio!
What does the Promotion consist of then?
Everything you do at JPS studios is for the benefit of your fans. In time…you want your fans to become Superfans, so that they are willing to spend money to support you. Just like paying for aticket at a gig or buying Vinyl / CD! YouTube is the JPS Studio’s “go to” platform! All other JPS Studio’s Social Media platforms will point to the JPS YouTube Channel. They will also be able to browse other bands content too. It must be understood that all bands under the umbrella of JPS Studio’s is a collective of Bands…so it is to everyone’s advantage that all bands collectively like each other online!!

You will ask fans to Like, Subscribe, Hit the Bell Icon, Share the Content & Comment on your performance whilst at the Studio. Are the JPS Studios sound proofed?
No but they are Acoustically treated, as the JPS studios are near silent in operation. JPS Studios are a speaker less Studio on the sound stage. All the instruments are connected directly and your monitor sound is provided by Headphones/IEM’s. Your headphone mix can be different to the overall Band Mix. This Band Mix is what is Broadcast via YOUTUBE.
Does that mean all the instruments and gear are provided?
Yes it does, however Guitarists can bring there own guitars if they choose to do so.
Why can't I bring my own instrument?
As all instruments are pre-wired into position (Audio & Midi) and along with Preset camera angles, therefore, it is not possible to bring your own instrument, as there is no time within the session for setting up and dismantling gear.
What Instruments are supplied then?
Drum Kit, Keyboards, Guitars, Microphones & Stands and PedalBoards.
As a Guitarist / Bass Player why can't I bring my own Pedalboard / Amp?
Amps are not required in the studio as it is a Silent Studio. All our Boss pedalboards are pre-wired and connected to each guitar workstation via a laptop. This laptop is web connected (Boss Tone Studio) and also runs Apple MainStage and allows settings of the pedalboard to be saved for future visits to the Studio. A Boss Multi Effects pedalboard (with Bluetooth) has been chosen to provide guitarists with a great tone from a great choice of built in modelling amps and also great Boss Guitar effects too! Separate guitar pedals have also been provided for more flexibility along with a Boss Vocal Performer pedal.
Can I alter the Guitar / Bass Workstation?
You can Alter and Adjust but you can’t Add or Remove anything. This includes the Mic Stand too. The pedalboard is pre wired so as to hide the cables as much as possible and to make it look as Professional as possible.
Do you have any Left Handed Studio Guitars?
Yes we do. We also have them available as half size – left and right handed!
As a Keyboard Player why can't I bring my own KeyBoards?
This is because the Keyboards are pre-wired and connected to the Keyboard workstation via a laptop. This laptop is web connected and also runs Apple MainStage and allows settings of the Keyboards to be saved for future visits to the Studio.
Can I alter the Keyboard Workstation?
You can Alter and Adjust but you can’t Add or Remove anything. This includes the Mic Stand too. The keyboards have been pre wired so as to hide the cables as much as possible and to make it look as Professional as possible.
As a Drummer, why can't I bring my own Drum Kit?
This is because the Drum Kit is pre-wired and connected to the Drum Kit workstation via a laptop. DI sound is required to work with the other instruments so an Electronic Drum kit is required. The Drum Kit at JPS Studios is arguably the very best Electronic Drum kit available. The laptop is web connected and also runs Apple MainStage and allows settings of the Drum Kit to be saved for future visits to the Studio.
Why is the Drum Kit Electronic?
As the studio is Silent in its capability the Drum kit needed to be electronic in order for it to be DI’d along with all the other instruments. A decision was made to make this drum kit the very best Electronic Drum Kit available and Roland Drums were chosen for this reason. It is custom designed or our Studio in order to provide all drummers with ultimate flexibility and thereby demonstrating the capability of modern Electronic Drum kits too. It is arguably the very best Electronic Drum kit available. It can either be played simply as a One UP and one down kit or as a full monster kit! ToonTrack’s Superior Drummer 3 VST software is used to truly bring outstanding drum sounds to the mix! Drummers are able to design their kit from the top ten list of drum manufacturer and then save it for future use!
Can I use my own personal Drum Sticks on the JPS Drum Kit?
Unfortunately NO. This is because it is highly likely that personal Drum Sticks will have been used with Metal Cymbals and any loose wood splinters from the shaft of that stick could damage the rubber Cymbals of the Electronic Drum kit. We supply a good selection of varying styles of drum sticks that are suitable for use with Electronic drum kits.
Can I alter the Drum Kit?
You can Alter and Adjust but you can’t Add or Remove any of the Kit. This includes the Mic stand too. The Kit is pre wired so as to hide the cables as much as possible and to make it look as Professional as possible.
As a Drummer, I only play a left Handed Kit, can I alter the Studio kit?
Unfortunately NO. We can not accommodate “Lefties” at this time but we do have plans to do so in the future.
So we don't need to bring any gear then?
No you don’t… everything is supplied … so it is simply a case of “Walk in-Plug in-and Play”!
You do need to bring your supplied IEM In Ear Tips though!
Guitarists can bring their own guitars.
Drummers are advised to bring their own “sweat” towel if required
What about other instruments?
We can’t deal with any Woodwind, Brass, Strings or Percussion instruments at this time.
The gear sounds complex to learn?
No – its quite the opposite actually.
Upon every new band who books and pays for a session, the very first session is double in length upto a 3 hour maximum. This is to enable the band to obtain their sound and also their own instrumentsound and monitor sound. It also gives time for the drummer to design his Drum Kit. This can then be saved for the subsequent sessions. (PDF manuals are supplied on the laptop for reference). So once the sound is obtained, it will always be available for future sessions and can be tweaked or changed at any time! A member of JPS Studios staff is available at all times to assist.
How do we get our Instrument Sound?
Guitarists / Bass Players – use their supplied pedalboards for tone and effects.
Keyboards – use the Keyboards / Electric Piano as normal for their sound.
Drummers – use Superior Drummer 3 to design their kit and obtain their sound.
How do we get the Band Sound?
All instruments are connected to two Roland Session mixers that allows the balance of each
instrument to be obtained and then the Total Mix of the band can also be obtained. Individual Monitor Mixes can also be set. All these settings can be saved for future sessions.
What about the Vocals?
Vocals – each workstation has it own Vocal Effects pedal which the Mic is connected to – to obtain the Vocal sound. These pedals are web connected and settings are interchangeable with the other Vocal pedals. This means that everyone can easily have the same vocal effect if they so wish. The Mic DRY Sound is also recorded Pre the vocal effects pedal.
Solo Vocalists have their own Mic on a separate Mic stand and their vocal pedal is shared with the Electro Acoustic Workstation.
How do we hear ourselves play?
Each workstation has its own set of IEM’s, Wired Closed Back Headphones and Wireless Closed Back Headphones to choose from. Ear Cup Covers are available at each work station for personal hygiene along with sanitised wipes for wiping down headphones and IEM’s. Please dispose of Ear Cup Covers and wipes in the supplied bins.
Are the “In Ear Tips” supplied ?
Three different sizes of IEM “in ear tips” are supplied free of charge on the first use of our Studio. These need to be brought in again on future bookings. If not brought in and IEM’s are required, then a £5 charge one size of tip will be made to the lead booker.

Do you have Guitar Tuners available?
Yes – All pedalboards have them built into the Main pedal.
Do you use wireless connections for the guitars?
Yes we do – Wireless is used on all Mics and Guitars & Bass and also on the headphones for the Guitarists too. This means that the front facing performers are free of cables. Drums and Keyboards are all wired.
How many Cameras are used for Live Streaming?
A maximum of 21 cameras are used on the Online Interactive Gig Stage – depending on the
promotion package chosen. There are a further 20 cameras that used for other purposes.
That's a lot of editing Time in Post?
During the Live Stream / Recording of the Online Gig, we switch the Cameras in Real Time during the performance of the Live Stream Broadcast. So once this has ended, all the edits are done! If any edits need correcting then this file can easily be upload to our AV editing suite for any quick alterations.
